The command palette (⌘K)
One shortcut — ⌘K — searches and runs every action, organized into six categories: navigation, edit, view, collab, export and system. You can find what you want without learning any menus.

The Workspace
You don't need to know where every button lives — that is what the command palette is for. It is a small window that searches and runs every action in the workspace, and it is your safest friend when a new tool feels unfamiliar.
Command palette
A search box where you type the name of an action to find and run it — the same idea as the "search anything" box in many apps. Here you open it with ⌘K.
Shortcut
A key combination that runs an action without going through menus, like ⌘K or ⌘S. You need not memorize them — the palette shows each action’s shortcut right beside it.
Press ⌘K anywhere to open it (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux), then type part of an action name to narrow the list. It is the fastest path when you can't recall a shortcut.

Open with ⌘K and search by typing an action name.
It only takes three steps
Press ⌘K.
A search box appears in the middle of the screen with the cursor already blinking.
Type a few letters of what you want, e.g. "export", "save", "present".
The list narrows as you type, and the best match rises to the top.
Pick with the arrow keys and press Enter to run it.
The chosen action runs right away. Press Esc if you change your mind.
Six categories
Navigation: switch artifact tabs, jump to the dashboard, and move between screens.
Edit: actions that change the project, such as rename and save now.
View: change how things are shown — toggle preview, check the design score.
Collab: sharing links and inviting members — the actions for working together.
Export: send deliverables to files — the proposal (docx, hwpx, pdf) and deck (pptx, pdf).
System: actions that operate on the workspace itself, like version history and the shortcuts help.
After pressing ⌘K, try typing just a few letters like these — you don’t need the exact menu name to find it.

Anything in the palette can also be asked for in chat. Reach for ⌘K when your hands are on the keyboard, and chat (⌘J) when the request needs explaining.
The palette only "runs" things — it won’t delete anything beyond recovery. Even a wrong pick can usually be undone with ⌘Z or version history, so feel free to explore.

⌘K isn’t opening.
On Windows and Linux use Ctrl instead of ⌘, so try Ctrl+K. If it still won’t open, click once inside the workspace to give it focus, then try again.
Do I need the exact wording?
No. Even a few letters surface close matches. Just type whatever word comes to mind, like "pdf" or "save".
How is this different from chat (⌘J)?
The palette quickly runs an existing action; chat is for tasks that need explaining, like "rewrite this section." Both can reach the same result.
